Did you know that Box Tops for Education, found on product packaging like yogurt tubes and toilet paper, can be submitted in envelopes, zip top bags, OR attached to collection sheets?
Please send in your Box Tops by the end of May. Don’t forget to label your submission with your homeroom teacher's name. The top contributing class from this school year will win an end of year party.
Pajama Day Contest Winners
Many thanks for the generosity of our community during Pajama Days throughout this school year. We raised nearly $1800! Also thanks to PJ Day chairs Megan Shawker and Stephanie Pritchard for their efforts.

Did you know that it can take 1000 years for a plastic bottle to degrade? Today, Thursday, May 25th is Green Spirit Day. Wear green and bring reusable water bottles to school.
Field Day
On Monday, June 5th, Westowne will host a fun-filled day of games, water play, PTA sponsored snowballs, and more. The rain date is Tuesday, June 6th. Families are invited to volunteer for their child's classroom and come join the fun.
Complete the volunteer sign up and turn it in to the PTA in your child's folder. Contact parent volunteer coordinator, Jesse Florida, with questions.

Didn't get your Karying for Keely bracelets yet? No worries. Spurred on by Project Make A Difference, Westowne 2nd grader Lyla will be selling Karing for Keely bracelets at the 5th Grade Spring Concert at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, May 30th.
Bracelets are one for $3 or two for $5. Funds will support the Horch family.
