Holiday Shoppe
Holiday Shoppe is our most successful fundraiser, and our students love bringing home inexpensive gifts they chose themselves. It is also one of our most labor intensive efforts. We'll need many hands to setup and run the shop. Please sign up to help. We know you will find it a rewarding, enjoyable experience!
The shop will be open for students on Tuesday, December 8th through Thursday, December 10th. Please see below for your child's shopping time. Send cash for shopping in an envelope that day.

Boundary Committee
The Southwest Area Boundary Committee had its public information session and public input survey in late November. Information and the meeting videos may be found online.
The next Boundary Committee meeting will be held Wednesday, December 9th at 6:00 at Catonsville High School. Only committee representatives may participate at this meeting, but community members should definitely attend to observe and demonstrate stakeholder interest. Tentatively, the final map will be chosen to later present to the Board of Education for their approval.
Fitness Fowls Run
Get in the spirit this holiday season. Join Westowne's Fitness Fowls at the Jingle Bell Run/Walk again this Saturday, December 5th. Tie bells to your shoes, dress in a festive costume, and raise funds to help cure arthritis. Find more information online.
Barefoot Books
Westowne parent and Barefoot Ambassador, Laurie Imhoff, is hosting a book sale to benefit your PTA. Now through Monday, December 7th, place your online order. Use coupon code TENOFF to save $10 off of your purchase of $60 or more. Laurie will then graciously donate 30% of your Barefoot Books orders to the PTA.
Cookies & Cards
It's time to share your favorite holiday treats and spread some cheer for Westowne's teachers and staff. On Thursday, December 17th and Monday, December 21st, bring in homemade baked goods. Drop off donations by 10:00 those mornings so we can set them up in the lounge. Sign up for baked goods to help us bring in enough quantity and variety.
Not a baker? That's okay. Send in holiday cards for the teachers and staff from your families to help us decorate the teachers' lounge. Cards can be sent in your children's folders in envelopes addressed to the PTA.
While you're at it, also consider giving cookies and cards to your bus drivers and our ever present crossing guard, Ms. Bev.
eScrip Online Shopping Mall & Dining
eScrip is the program many online stores and some restaurants use to donate funds to schools. This reputable, widely used program offers several opportunities to give a percentage of your purchases to Westowne PTA. Using their website, securely and easily register the credit and debit cards you shop with. The next time you shop online, start at the eScrip online mall to find your favorite stores. Also use your registered cards to pay the bill when dining out at participating restaurants. A percentage of your purchases will then go toward educational enrichment, classroom support, and parental involvement for Westowne.
Sign up now so that your holiday online shopping supports your PTA.
