President’s Report: China Williams

1. Anticipating a balanced budget
2. Filed Personal Property taxes in April
3. Voted to increase Green School budget by $100 to $900
4. Voted to increase After-School Clubs budget by $250 to $1750
5. eScrip revenue: $860
   1. To continue to promote program as one of few remaining reward programs
   2. Escrip.com: register credit and debit cards; use online shopping portal and dining rewards
6. Voted to approve Bylaws as written

Principal’s Report: Mr. Palmer

1. PARCC occurring now
2. Thank you for Teacher Appreciation Week
3. Building updates
   1. Slightly ahead of schedule in interior, slightly behind on exterior due to rain
   2. Demolition begins Monday, June 20th
   3. Final day for staff to access building is Friday, June 17th
   4. School finishing orders for new building supplies
4. Teachers to get 4 days professional development with new building (focus on behavior management and staff-student relationships)
5. Anticipating 3 entrances next year (bus riders, walkers, and car riders)
6. Teachers get 2 extra days for classroom setup starting August 15th
7. Sneak a Peek (Tuesday, Aug 23rd in evening?)
8. Back to School Night/s early in year
9. Staffing updates
   1. Ms. Bueker taking 2 year leave, needs new Reading Specialist
   2. Needs new .5 Special Educator shared with CES
   3. Ms. Getsinger switching to 4th grade full time
   4. Needs to fill 2nd PE teacher slot for double special
   5. Discontinuing 2nd counseling position (Ms. Stine anticipating switch to HS level)
   6. Needs to fill K-CLS position (current teacher switching to 2nd grade)
   7. 2 other changes anticipated that must be approved by Board of Ed prior to announcing
10. 579 projected enrollment next year

11. Ribbon Cutting anticipated late September or early October
