Pajama Spirit Day
Our monthly Pajama Spirit Day is tomorrow, December 2nd. This month you can show your Westowne pride with Wacky Tacky mismatched clothes instead of or with your PJs!
Your PTA organizes Pajama Day and encourages those who can to make a donation to fund fun and educational events like Literature Night and Field Day. The donation is very appreciated but entirely optional. If desired, please send cash or check made out to Westowne PTA in your student’s folder on Friday, December 2nd.
The class with the most donations will get a class party at the end of the school year! The current class leaders are:
- Ms. Rotolo $98
- Ms. Durm $68.50
- Ms. Jones $61
Last Call for Holiday Shoppe Donations
Holiday Shoppe is coming on December 13th - 15th. We need donated items that students can buy as low-cost gifts for their families.Consider donating gently used hats, gloves, scarves, toys, coffee mugs, re-gifted gifts, neckties, dad gifts, spa products, and other not-quite-new gift items cluttering your basement. Please, no fragile glassware or oversized items since they can't safely get home.
Donations may be brought to the school office on Monday or Tuesday or Friday, December 9th. Thanks so much for participating in this popular program. Questions? Please let us know.
Holiday Shoppe Volunteers Needed
Nothing helps get you into the holiday spirit like volunteering. We'll need many hands to setup and run the shop. Please sign up to help. We know you will find it a rewarding, enjoyable experience!

St. Jude Math-A-Thon
The St. Jude Math-A-Thon is a school-based fundraiser that benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Since 1962, St. Jude has treated children who are battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases, and no family ever receives a bill from St. Jude. That’s why our school is hosting a St. Jude Math-A-Thon!Take a look at this info letter from Ms. Bill and Ms. Rees for more details.

Reading anything counts, except assignments for school or homework. Students who complete and submit the log on time will earn a free ticket to Six Flags for this summer. Forms are available in the school library or you can print your own from the attached file.
