- Thanks to Westowne families for sending in such wonderful donations for the Holiday Shoppe. Keep the donations coming! Our inventory goes quickly once shopping begins.
- Do you have folding tables or bookshelves that we could borrow? We need places to display our inventory. Bring them to the gym tomorrow after dismissal.
- Did you adopt a box of books after Fall Festival for us? Send them back to school after dismissal tomorrow. We'll set them up so the teachers can peruse the stacks for their classroom libraries and students can search for gift-worthy titles. Thanks for being a book foster parent.

Cookies & Cards
Help demonstrate our appreciation for Westowne's teachers and staff. On Monday, December 15th and 22nd, bring homemade baked goods. Drop of donations by 10:00 those mornings so we can set them up in the lounge. Sign up for baked goods to help us bring in enough quantity and variety. It's time to show off your baking skills, share your favorite holiday treats, and spread some cheer.
Not a baker? That's okay. Send in holiday cards from your families to help us decorate the teachers' lounge. Cards can be sent in your children's folders in envelopes addressed to the PTA.
Bulletin Board
"It's easy being green at Westowne!" Check out the new bulletin board in the lobby. A special thank you to Martha Montgomery for facilitating the creativity of Hazel, Charlotte, and Amy--Westowne alums and students.
If you have middle school or high school students who would like to give back to Westowne later this school year with a bulletin board update, let us know.
Giant Rewards
So far this year, we've received $353.25 in Giant A+ school rewards. If you haven't already, take a minute to register your card. Westowne's School Rewards number is 01581. Reward programs are simple ways your every day purchases can support our school.

Mitten Tree
Westowne families have been so generous during this season of giving. There are still a few mittens left on the Mitten Tree in the lobby. Make a choice from the tree, purchase the requested items, and bring the wrapped gifts back to schoo. Use the mitten label to make the gift so that school staff can assure the correct families receive them. All groups, troops, and individuals are invited to participate.
