Holiday Shoppe
Holiday Shoppe set up begins tomorrow and Monday. We still welcome donations of gift items and paper or plastic shopping bags. Just bring them to the school office tomorrow or Monday.
Each class gets to visit the shop on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Please send funds with your child on their visit day. Most items are priced $5 or less. Westowne spirit wear t-shirts in neon green and hot pink will also be available for $12 each.
Here is the class shopping trip schedule:
Five Below
Five Below of Catonsville is hosting a fundraiser for Westowne now through this Sunday, December 11th. Do a bit of shopping (maybe hats for the winter accessories drive?) and present your flyer to the cashier to support the PTA's 5th Grade Committee.
December is a busy month, so we have decided to CANCEL the PTA meeting next week. Please join us next month on Tuesday, January 10th at 7:00. We'll discuss all the exciting events coming up this spring, including our Maryland Science Center Family Night and Skate Night.
Cookies & Cards
It's time to share your favorite holiday treats and spread some cheer for Westowne's teachers and staff. On Monday, December 19th and Tuesday, the 20th, bring homemade baked goods. Drop off donations by 10:00 those mornings so we can set them up in the lounge. Sign up for baked goods to help us bring in enough quantity and variety.
Everyone is invited to send in holiday cards for the school to help us decorate the teachers' lounges. Cards can be sent in your children's folders in envelopes addressed to the PTA. While you're at it, also consider giving cookies and cards to your bus drivers and our ever present crossing guard, Ms. Bev.
School Directory
This year, your PTA has created a school directory with the help of Join Our Class. Participating in the directory is the best way to reach your children's classmates and to send or receive party invitations throughout the school year. If you've not yet signed up this year, let us know, and we'll email you an invitation to join.
