Pajama Spirit Day
Our monthly Pajama Spirit Day is tomorrow, February 3rd. This month you can show your Westowne pride by dressing like a friend for Twin Day instead of or with your PJs!
Your PTA organizes Pajama Day and encourages those who can to make a donation to fund fun and educational events like Literature Night and Field Day. The donation is very appreciated but entirely optional. If desired, please send cash or check made out to Westowne PTA in your student’s folder on Friday, February 3rd.
The class with the most donations will get a class party at the end of the school year! The current class leaders are:

Skate Night
Show us your moves! Next Thursday, Hot Skates of Woodlawn will open just for Westowne families and friends. This evening is a social event for our school community, not a fundraiser.

Lion King - Help Needed
We need several people to help run the show.
The PTA's 5th Grade Committee will sell concessions at each of The Lion King Jr. performances. We'll have pizza before the Friday evening performances, as well as snacks and drinks at all shows. Please sign up online to help sell food.

MD PTA Night in Annapolis
This year, Maryland PTA celebrates 102 years of advocacy on behalf of children in Maryland. Join representatives from Westowne PTA in Annapolis next week as we meet with our legislators to advocate for education, students, and families.

Room 170 of the House of Delegates Building on Bladen Street
Light refreshments will be served, and a photo ID is required to enter the building. Send us an email with questions or if interested in carpooling from Catonsville.
Volunteer Spotlight
As a volunteer-run, charitable organization, the PTA depends on member's time, skills, and financial contributions. This month, we'd like to thank Westowne parent and Drama Club volunteer, Jessica Tartal. Both this year and last, Jessica has contributed countless hours and creative expertise to help the Drama Club team plan and create incredible costumes and sets.
