Show us your moves this evening! Hot Skates of Woodlawn will open just for Westowne families and friends. This evening is a social event for our school community, not a fundraiser.

Lion King - Help Needed
We need several people to help run the show.
The PTA's 5th Grade Committee will sell concessions at each of The Lion King Jr. performances. We'll have pizza before the Friday evening performances, as well as snacks and drinks at all shows. Please sign up online to help sell food.
Please sign up here to help with tasks such as collecting tickets and assisting the students between acts.

February PTA Meeting
Join us next Tuesday, February 14th at 7:00. Agenda topics include Drama Club support, Book Fair, and Literature Night, and we'll keep it brief so you can spend most of the evening with loved ones. The meeting is held in the library, so please enter the building through the courtyard at the rear of the school.
Winter Lego Robotics
Registration forms for a winter session of Lego Robotics, which run for 6 weeks starting the end of February, will be sent home in student folders soon. We are offering Lego Robotics taught by parent volunteer, Lara Mellendick and assisted by parent, Joe Riggieri on Monday afternoons from 4:00-5:00.
Reserve one of the slots by sending in your registration and club fees in by the due date on the form. Club sizes are very limited. You will receive a confirmation by email before the start of the club.
CWGC Grant
The Catonsville Women's Giving Circle (CWGC) has presented Westowne PTA with a $1500 grant to bring Green Author Jennifer Keats Curtis back to Westowne next school year. Thanks to Westowne parent Susan Larsen for preparing the PTA's grant application, to Ms. Johnson for her assistance, and to the Catonsville Women's Giving Circle for their generous support!

Opening night is about a week away! Tickets for Westowne’s The Lion King, Jr. are available online.
Performances are
All performances are general admission and $5 per ticket. Seats are limited, so buy your tickets online today.
The Lion King, Jr. Assembly
Students will be treated to a brief selection of scenes and songs from the full performance during the school day on Tuesday, February 14th.
Middle School PTA
Both Catonsville Middle School PTSA and Arbutus Middle School PTA would like to invite incoming families to become members and become involved.
CMS PTSA has open delegate positions for a two year term. Elections will be held in May. Please contact the nominations committee with questions or to express interest.

For mulch delivery (minimum of 15 bags), please place your order by March 22nd. Smaller orders must be placed in advance and picked up on Saturday, April 1st, 9:00-2:00.
