McDonald's Restaurant Night​

Next Tuesday, January 24th, the Catonsville main street McDonald's is hosting a restaurant night for Westowne PTA. Dine in, carry out, or drive thru the 501 Frederick Road location from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. Twenty percent of the entire evening's sales will be donated to our PTA.

Family Science Night

Save the date! Your PTA is bringing the Maryland Science Center to Westowne for a Family Science Night. Discover the science behind rainbows, liquids, animal vision, and more. This event is free for all Westowne families. There will also be pizza, drinks, and snacks available for purchase, benefiting the PTA's 5th Grade Committee.

Giant A+ Rewards
Now through March 16th, Westowne Elementary School (#01581) has the  opportunity to earn cash through Giant 's program.

All you have to do is:
    •  Log on to designate our school online using your Giant card, OR
    • Call the A+ Hotline at 1-877-275-2758 for assistance.

Please take just a moment to assure Westowne is designated on your account so that you support our school while you shop.

School News

Green Thursday
Some of the items accepted by Westowne's Recycling Center can be traded in for cash through TerraCycle. Next week, January 23rd - January 26th, students are encouraged to bring in these items:

• hair and make-up containers (shampoo bottles, mascara and lipstick tubes, hair gel containers, lotion bottles, blush cases, etc.)
• toothbrushes, toothpaste tubes, and floss containers
• ink cartridges from printers

The class that brings in the most items by Thursday, January 26th, wins extra recess and gets their picture on the announcements. And don't forget to wear green that day, too.

Drama Club Tickets Available Now

Tickets for The Lion King, Jr. are now available for Westowne's family and friends using this online service. Seat are limited, so buy your tickets today.
