Pajama Spirit Day
Our monthly Pajama Spirit Day is tomorrow, March 3rd. This month you can show your Westowne pride by getting read for March Madness. Wear clothing or colors from your favorite sports team instead of or with your PJs!
Your PTA organizes Pajama Day. We encourage those who can to make a donation to fund fun and educational events like Literature Night and Field Day. The donation is very appreciated but entirely optional. If desired, please send cash or check made out to Westowne PTA in your student’s folder on Friday, March 3rd.
The class with the most donations will get a class party at the end of the school year! The current class leaders are:

Book Fair
The PTA sponsored Scholastic Book Fair runs March 14th - 16th. Every student will get a shopping trip during school that week. We also run the fair during Literature Night (Thursday, March 16th, 5:30 - 8:00) so that parents and kids can shop for themselves and for their classroom libraries.

Box Tops Drawing Winner
Congratulations to third grader Avery D. for being randomly chosen as the winner of a $10 gift card to Five Below! Thanks to all the families who participated, an additional $500 worth of Box Tops were just submitted. Also thanks to Box Tops coordinator, Jessica Brown, for making compiling tens of thousands of Box Tops each year look easy.
The class that collects the most Box Tops throughout the school year will win an end of year party. So far, the top three contributing classrooms are:

Save the date! Take a journey through time at Westowne's Literature Night Thursday, March 16th, 5:30 - 8:00. This event includes:
Preschool, Pre-K, and K Round Up
Westowne will host Pre-school, Pre-kindergarten, and Kindergarten Round Up on Thursday, April 6th and Friday, April 7th so that families may register their incoming students. Call the school office to schedule an appointment.
