Movie Night
Please plan to join us tomorrow evening, Friday, May 19th, for the last pizza and movie night this school year. See Moana (PG), a family friendly adventure about a girl who saves her island community. Admission is free. Bring blankets to picnic in the gym. We will have pizza, drinks, and snacks for sale. Doors open at 6:00, and the movie starts around 6:30.
Garden Cleanup
Volunteers needed! The gardens at Westowne need a little love. There are lots of beautiful plants that were just installed this past fall, but the weeds are now overtaking the beds. Please help out this weekend so that Westowne can look great this spring.
When: Sunday, May 21st, 2:00 - 4:00 PM
Where: Meet at front (main) entrance
What to bring: Gloves, shovels, and weeding tools

It's been fun getting everyone together for restaurant nights each month. Come out for the last one this school year on Monday, May 22nd, 6:00 - 9:00 PM. Dine in or carry out. Even pick up bagels for the next morning. Ten percent of all the evening's purchases will be donated to our PTA (no flyers or mention of the PTA necessary).
Also thanks to Westowne parent, Sarah Petersen, for setting up the recent restaurant nights. We appreciate you!

Contractors continue to work on the storm water management ponds near the parking lot. Please expect some rerouting and blocked parking spots over the next couple weeks. Please use extra care during drop off and pick up. Families are also welcome to park along Harlem Lane and walk their children up to the front door.

On Monday, June 5th, Westowne will host a fun-filled day of games, water play, PTA sponsored snowballs, and more. The rain date is Tuesday, June 6th. Families are invited to volunteer for their child's classroom and come join the fun.
Complete the volunteer sign up and turn it in to the PTA in your child's folder. Contact parent volunteer coordinator, Jesse Florida, with questions.

Lost and Found
Is your child missing something? Westowne's Lost and Found is located in the stairwell of the second floor green pod, along with the Recycling Center. The Lost and Found items, including many coats and jackets, will be donated to charity at the end of the school year. Please have your students check now to see if they've left something at school.
