November PTA Meeting
Join us for the next PTA meeting on Tuesday, November 15th at 7:00. We'll share all the exciting events coming up this fall, including Movie Night and Holiday Shoppe. The meeting is held in the library, so enter the building through the courtyard.
Box Tops for Education
Box Tops are a surprisingly important source of revenue for Westowne PTA. Cut those Box Tops off of product packaging and send them to school in a bag or envelope marked with your homeroom teacher's name. The class that collects the most throughout the school year will win an end of year party. So far, the top three contributing classrooms are:
Ms. Rees
Ms. Jones
Ms. Robey
Keep on clipping!
Holiday Shoppe Donations Needed
Our beloved Holiday Shoppe is coming December 13th - 15th. We need donated items that students can buy as low-cost gifts for their families.Consider donating gently used toys, coffee mugs, re-gifted gifts, neckties, dad gifts, spa products, and other not-quite-new gift items cluttering your basement. Are you crafty? Turn your artistic skills into donated Holiday Shoppe gifts! Please, no glassware or oversized items; they can't safely get home.
Donations may be brought to the school office on Monday mornings and Tuesday afternoons. Thanks so much for participating in this popular program. It is one of our most successful fundraisers and the kids have a magical time. Questions? Please let us know.
Amazon Smile
Amazon Smile provides an excellent opportunity to support the PTA while shopping. Spread the word to family and friends that they can support our PTA by shopping on smile.amazon.com and choosing Westowne Elementary. This program is now the best place to give with Amazon purchases. #startwithasmile

If you'd like to support Mr. Baker's family at this time, the school is collecting grocery funds now through next Friday, November 18th. You may make a cash donation to the school (no checks) or donate gift cards for Giant or Wal-Mart. Please take donations to the school office directly.
