Pajama Day & Movie Night
Tomorrow, November 7th, should be a lot of fun! Send your kids to school that day in their pajamas, and bring them back later that day for movie night--no need to change.
Everyone can wear their pajamas. Monetary donations (sent to school that day) are a welcome but optional way for us to raise funds. The class who raises the most funds this school year will win an end of the year party. The current front runners are Mrs. Jones', Ms. Connolly's, and Ms. Murray's classes.
We'll be showing "Muppets Most Wanted" (PG) that evening. Doors open at 6:00 for pizza and popcorn. The show starts at 6:30. We look forward to hanging out in the gym with the Westowne community!
Restaurant Night: Peace a Pizza
Join your friends and family at Peace a Pizza on Monday, November 10th from 4:00 - 8:00. Bring the flyers that were sent home with your children, print the attached file, or mention Westowne PTA when ordering. Twenty percent of your dine-in or carry-out order will be donated to the PTA to fund events like spring's Literature Night. And while you're there, check out the larger space and dessert shop.

Parent Contact Form
Last week, you should have received a Parent Contact Form in your child's folders. We are asking for your permission to share your email addresses and phone numbers with the PTA. We will also share your contact information with your child's class so that you can more easily communicate with fellow parents for things like birthday party and playdate invitations. Please complete one form per child and send it back to school by Monday. Email us if you need a new form.
Holiday Shoppe
It's the most wonderful time of the year. Send us your gently used toys, gifts and knick knacks so that we can stock the shelves with low-cost gifts for our students to purchase for their families. Be a part of this beloved tradition. We also need volunteers to help sort, clean, set up and staff the event, so mark your calendars: Holiday Shoppe runs December 8th to December 11th. We will also be open to parent shoppers after dismissal on December 11th. More details to come.
Are you crafty? Would you be willing to make small gifts that would be sold at Holiday Shoppe? Hand-knitted hats and scarves, jewelry, anything Ravens, Dad gifts -- your skills to turn ordinary objects into works of art and love are needed to make Holiday Shoppe a success. Contact us with questions or ideas.
