Corporate Sponsors
Westowne PTA invites local businesses to become sponsors for the 2016/17 school year. Sponsorship is a form of advertising with an educational and community benefit.
Your company will appear as a sponsor for the school year on our website, on Facebook and Twitter, and in our email/online newsletter. New this year is the opportunity to become an exclusive event sponsor. Event sponsors can choose to financially support a specific event, with added business promotion opportunities. As always, all contributions are tax deductible. Please email us for details.

Preschool, Pre-K, and Kindergarten Play Dates
Westowne PTA will host two Preschool, Pre-K, and Kindergarten Playground Play Dates this summer. Bring your little ones to Christian Temple Playground to meet their classmates and fellow families. Join us for one date or both.
Teacher Appreciation Volunteers Needed
We would like to build a Teacher Appreciation Team who enjoys throwing celebrations and serving good food to Westowne's hard working faculty and staff.
Events include a Welcome Back Lunch on Friday, August 19th that requires a chair now. Please contact us by email to ask questions and offer to help.
Box Tops Summer Collection
Westowne PTA raised $1647.10 last school year, 10 cents at at time, thanks to you clipping and turning in Box Tops for Education labels.
Let's have some fun while raising funds. Each completed summer collection sheet (available below) turned in by Friday, September 9th, will give your student a chance to win a prize. Additionally, the class that collects the most throughout the school year will win an end of year party. Keep on clipping!

Last school year, Westowne was awarded a $2000 grant as a Clean Green 15 first place winner. Get a head start on the competition, which now runs all year, by cleaning up your block and logging your work.

Westowne's summer office is located at Westchester Elementary at 2300 Old Frederick Road. The school office may be reached at 410-887-0854 until August 15th. Starting August 15th, the number will be changed to 443-809-0854. Office hours at Westchester are as follows:

Sunday, August 14th through Saturday, August 20th is Shop Maryland Tax-Free Week this year. Qualifying apparel and footwear of $100 or less, per item, are exempt from the state sales tax. Accessory items are not included.
