Thanks to everyone for supporting the Fall Festival coat and canned good drive. About six dozen coats were collected! They were shared first with Westowne students in need, and the rest are heading to the International Rescue Committee. Additionally, 100 pounds of food was delivered to Catonsville Emergency Assistance. Thanks for taking care of our community, Westowne!

Fall Into Reading
Families of kindergartners, 1st graders, and 2nd graders are invited to join Westowne Reading Specialist, Ms. Cvengros, for the final event in the series of primary reading nights on Tuesday, November 28th from 6:00-7:00. The focus this month is reading comprehension. Please RSVP by simply sending a note to school in your child's folder. Include your family name, student name, and homeroom teacher and label it "RSVP for Fall Into Reading with Ms. Cvengros."

Each year, Westowne students make the ornaments that are used to decorate the tree at the Catonsville Tree Lighting Ceremony, which takes place the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Enjoy refreshments, music, shopping, and visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
