LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR
Hello, Drama Club Families!
I hope you and the children have been staying safe and healthy over the past couple of months. The Drama Club team has missed you bunches. Even though we weren't able to finalize our club with the performances, I hope you are very proud of all the hard work you put into this show!
This week, we worked with the Westowne Administration to include all costumes in with the rest of the students' belongings that can be picked up next week.
Additionally, we had ordered T-shirts for all of the actors that we planned to give out after the shows. These have been included with the children’s belongings as well.
5th Graders - We wish you the best of luck in Middle School and enjoyed having you as part of Wonderland this year!
3rd and 4th Graders - We are hoping to be able to have Drama Club offered again next year. If we are able to, we hope to see you at auditions!

At this time, we are hoping we can do the performances prior to the end of the year. As we get more information from the school administration we will pass that information along to you and keep you abreast of any new developments.
All money for tickets that have been purchased will be returned. When/If new dates are announced, tickets will be sold again.

Drama Club
(Open to 3rd through 5th graders)
The Westowne PTA sponsored Drama club has chosen Disney's Alice in Wonderland, Jr.
Travel down the rabbit hole and join Alice, one of literature’s most beloved heroines, in her madcap adventures. Featuring updated songs from Disney’s thrilling animated motion picture, Disney’s Alice in Wonderland JR.is a fast-paced take on the classic tale.

The PTA has worked with Westowne parents to make the Drama Club for school year 2019-2020 possible. We have committed to providing $2,000 towards the cost of the production. Miss Lauren Lowell will be in charge of the auditions, rehearsals and directing the show. We will need parent and community volunteers to help supervise the children during rehearsals after school and to help with dismissals/pickups.
The Westowne PTA will be sponsoring the Drama Club's Production of Disney's Alice in Wonderland Jr. There are two in-school, day time performances planned on Friday, March 20.
The performances will be:

Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 7pm (43 tickets left)*

When are the shows? Show dates are March 19 through March 21. On March 19 & 20, there will be day time performances for the school. On March 20 & 21, we will hold evening performances at 7 pm.
When is Tech Week? Tech Week for the show is mandatory for all participants. Tech week is held after school March 16, 17 and 18.
Will my actor be called to every rehearsal? No. A schedule will go out via email for all participants with details of when your actor is called each week. See above for rehearsal schedule.
