​As a volunteer organization we rely on you to be informed and involved. Everyone is welcome to contribute as much time, effort and donations as they can afford.


Here are ways in which you can be involved: 

• Participate in fundraisers and direct-donation campaigns. 
• Volunteer your time and professional expertise.
• Attend our monthly PTA meetings.
• Join us on Facebook.
• Attend our special events and activities.
• Be a part of the community and the conversation.  



Support Us With Your Time 
We need committee members and volunteers for our special events and programs. Being involved with these events is a great way to get to know the teachers and students in your child's school and to meet other parents. 

Don't have time during the day? We could still use your help. Professional expertise in fundraising, education, STEM, communication and database management are all needed. 

Small business owners and employees of companies that make charitable donations are also encouraged to be involved with our fundraising activities.

Support Us Financially
Raising enough money to support the school occupies a lot of time and energy within the PTA. We offer the following options for giving: 

Monthly or one-time contributions  Donating directly to the PTA is smart and profitable. Use PayPal to give a little or a lot once or once a month. We are grateful for all levels of support.  

Corporate matching programs 
Does your company match charitable donations? If so, tell us about it and we can help with the paperwork. 

Corporate sponsors 
​Help us solicit donations from local businesses for our sponsors program and silent auction.  Do you have connections to the business community? Do you have non-profit fundraising experience or grant-writing skills? We need you. 

FUNding Fridays
Once a month, Westowne students wear their pajamas or other silly clothing to school to show their school spirit and to support the PTA. The class that donates the most money wins an end of year party.   

Holiday Shoppe
​Our annual holiday shop sells gently used gifts to students purchasing presents for their families. Donate gently used toys, books and knick-knacks whenever your basement gets full.
