Who We Are
Westowne PTA is a volunteer, non-profit organization made up of parents, guardians, teachers, grandparents and community members. We invite the entire Westowne community, neighbors and friends to join the PTA and to be involved. The Westowne PTA acts as an advocate for all children and strives to foster closer relationships between the home, the community and the school. We vigorously support these ideals and fund many supplementary enrichment programs and activities. These programs are funded by PTA membership and fundraisers. The PTA encourages you to become involved in your child's education and help to make his/her elementary school years memorable. What We Do Click here for more information about what we do Teachers and Staff - We support our teachers and staff through reimbursement of educational materials and training that school funds don't cover. We celebrate teachers and staff with meals and festivities throughout the year. Students and Families - We subsidize field trips so that the cost is less for parents and guardians. We bring in live acts throughout the year to provide educational yet entertaining shows for the students. Become a Member Membership is easy and inexpensive. You can now join the PTA via our website. Westowne PTA is a local unit of the Baltimore County Council PTA, Free State PTA, and National PTA, which work on child-focused legislative and educational issues.
